Bump. LiveLaw has just advertised a full-time job position, which may answer some of these questions:
Quote:
India's No.1 Legal News Portal 'LiveLaw' invites applications from suitable candidates for the post of "Legal Correspondent" in the following High Courts:
Rajasthan High Court
Madhya Pradesh High Court
Allahabad High Court
Andhra Pradesh/Telengana High Courts
Calcutta High Court
Punjab and Haryana High Court
Duties Of Correspondents:
1. Attend High Court proceedings 2. Live Tweet important cases 3. Make stories based on hearings 4. Keep track of judgements and orders for reporting.
They didn't talk about tiers. It was a general analogy (NLUs in law with St Stephen's in humanities or IITs in engineering). Kitna frustration hai? Go blow off some steam at your local gym.
Low pay as NLU brand still lacks the prestige of IIT/IIM for the common man and among journalists. They will probably give more importance to a Stephen's/Ashoka brand.
Would love to hear Kian answer this question. It's ironic how good legal journalists never get interviewed and hence, legal journalism as a career option is so less publicized. @Kian: Please interview yourself and also get few of your colleagues from other news outlets.
Is Journalism (particularly investigative journalism), a good option after law school? Is it possible to get a high-paying job in journalism as a fresh law graduate?

Stop your useless obsession about NLU NLU NON-NLU TIER 1 TIER 10 IIT IIM
The question is not even related to that. There are many NLU NLU NON-NLU TIER 1 TIER 10 IIT IIM Questions here on LI where you can go and spam.
