Only downside is GNLU kids end up paying double the amount for a bottle than their peers in other NLUs.
1) BHU/AMU etc- The biggest perk is that they are extremely cheap because everything is subsidised. Attendance is not a huge issue so you would get a lot of time to intern.
2) Delhi/Mumbai based law colleges like lloyd, glc etc - Again attendance is not an huge issue, government funded universities might not cost a lot but the likes of lloyd would cost although i guess that would be within your budget. Since you’re in the hub of litigation, you can actually learn a lot.
One golden tip for getting internships in litigation chambers is that you physically go to there chambers and submit a hard copy of your application with cv and sop. Don’t disturb the senior lawyers, just hand it out to a junior or peon
I was wondering what if I couldn't make it to an NLU - preferably the top 6 or perhaps top 10. Then which colleges should I join which would provide an on par or a decent education?
Also, I cannot pull any strings on my own to make ways for me, so what should I do to make contacts, get internships, et cetera?
P.S. I cannot stretch my budget more than 15-16 L
