He’s now a PA. Probably better at his job than you freshie
Youre an SA. You should know what to expect by now.
What is asked in the second round, and who takes it?
In the HR round, can questions become technical? Or is it only limited to soft skills. What if the interview is with a senior partner from a different practice area?
Ok. Usually how much time do these firms take
No. Please wait for official confirmation. Law firms can't be trusted without official confirmations
I had my first technical round and then the second round with HR. does this surely mean I have cleared it?
It depends on the firm. SAM takes a technical (60 percent) plus HR (40 percent) interview with two rounds. I think it's more important for them to see how you perform under pressure and structure your answer
Hey, thanks for this. But am trying to understand the "technical but in an indirect way" bit. What does it mean? Also, they will form an opinion of my situation depending on the info i give about my current employer, no?
Why would question about the current employer be a bad thing?
Hey Cobblestone, I know it sucks that you didn't get any helpful replies on this, but it would be great if you can drop in a comment mentioning how your interview went, and if it was largely technical or otherwise.

Good luck!
It's entirely technical..no different than what it was when you were interviewing for an associate position.
