While Excel and PPT should be easy to learn (various material available online), how should one go ahead and learn to understand the financial statements? Correct me if I'm seeing but I've come across a few courses which however do not seem to be relevant in the Indian context.

If you're really looking to get out of law - my first advice at this stage would be - LEARN HOW TO WORK ON EXCEL AND POWER POINT. I cannot overemphasize this aspect. Data manipulation and organization is the key. My second advice would be - LEARN HOW THREE STATEMENTS WORK. Understand the implication of each line item and how it impacts a company. Once you have done this, then you can start thinking of moving out.
