I know that increments vary a lot based on tiers and teams and performance. But can anyone take a hypothetical of a tier 1 firm and quote figures that can give an idea of what one can expect to realistically make 1,3,5,7,10 yrs down the line?
What about the bonus component? Does that also get a 10% hike at A1 and A2 levels?
Also, is the 10% increment standard or does that vary i.e. is it on the higher or lower end of the spectrum?
Could you also quote figures for SA and PA levels if you have them?
You would have one believe that trilegal gave a 4+ bonus to an A1 and 6-7+ bonus to a A2?
However bumper the profits may have been, these figures seem absurd.
The bonus figures you mention seem too good to be true. 4L for A1 and 6-7L for A2.
Can confirm. 3.7 as annual bonus + 1.2 as extra covid bonus.
the way automation, smart contracts, AI and ethereum are picking up- law firms may well be dead/ irrelevant/ drastically different to what they're now in 10 years. Imagine people working in Nokia and/ or Kodak in the early 2000s planning their future! Why to worry so much?
You’ve clearly not handled any legal AI system. They aren’t working even in saturated legal markets.
Yes, and the state of AI/ any other technology would be exactly the same years down the line as they're today, cause that's how technologies evolve. How're you so lame?
How about if an A3/A4 becomes an SA1 is it just the ususal 10% hike or does it entail an additional bump?
Agree broadly with the above. I'm 7 PQE at AZB.

At senior levels, bonus component varies between 15-40% of your total comp, depending on the firm.
Slightly more across the spectrum but a lot more at PA level
Anyone shed some light on what these figures would look like in a tier 2 or 3 in Mumbai?
Can anyone share the growth trajectory at firms like DMD, PDS, Algo, Samvad, etc who start freshers at around 55k -65k? What would this figure be for A2, SA and so forth?
Anyone has any deets on SA details for tier 2 ,3 firms?
How much do they differ from tier 1?
