Does anyone know salaries for law professors in India (entry level, post-LLM and post PhD) across NLUs and pvt law colleges?
In the same boat, replying so I hope someone answers
So so comprehensive thank you! Any chance you'd know approximately how much certain private unis like say UPES, NMIMS, NIRMA, KIIT pay?
As someone who has worked at both NLU and JGLS, this is the best rough sketch anyone could have drawn for you.
How difficult is it to get a job though? How often do private universities have vacancies at all and how often do NLUs?
Does recruitment become difficult if you graduated from private university but have forenβ„’ LLM? How to bridge the gap?
57,500 is not 9 lakh tho? And how difficult to get a job at private university??
57.5k is the basic pay. Along with it are the allowances like DA, HRA and TA. All in all, it comes to around 75k. You're also entitled to two increments immediately on entry for your LLM degree provided you push for it.
Can't imagine it being hard. There is always a shortage of faculty in MNLU, Mumbai- especially in corp subjects.
How much does Alliance University, Bangalore pay to associate & professor grade sir. Plz throw some light.
What about anyone who has cleared ugc net, did llm from nujs and worked in a tier 1 firm for a year? How much can be expected?
@Kian: The main page is too cluttered. Please keep the featured tag only at the Latest Conversation section. Also please keep the Latest section free from the Latest Conversation.
Many thanks for your feedback, that's been done. Please let us know any other thoughts about frontpage layout, etc, we'll be working on it over the coming days and weeks a bit.
What about places like symbi. Heard they flout on the standard pay.
symbi pays good but is very rigid in increments
