Domicile in non-merit seats does not matter. The key is whether merit seats are being reduced due to domicile, like the bills in NLSIU (which was struck down) and NUJS.
How long did you take to research, and then type this?
College ke prati pyaar ubharta hua
But, thank you for clarifying. It is certainly a strong competition to top NLUs
Objectively, not really. It's good, especially compared to other slightly elder NLUs like NLUJAA or NUSRL or DSNLU, but nowhere near the top NLUs.
They do. But honestly, looking at it outside from outside, universities are mostly judged on their abilities to produce economically productive graduates. Not everyone is born privileged and legal education (in the premier institutes) cost a lot.
Why are people going on about placements? Placements are only one component of ranking and the overall student experience depends on many things other than placements. Location, infra, campus life, faculty, student gender ratio: all these things matter.
MNLU just needs a new VC, the current one is absolutely useless and it shows. MNLU is getting better placements but they’re mostly through PPOs, the university itself is doing absolutely nothing for the students who are basically on their own
