Vaish Associates has promoted 10 to principal associate and 5 to senior associate effective 1 April 2018 (see full list below).

Shaily Gupta is associated with VA, New Delhi since 2011, prior to which she was with Ernst & Young. She is a Chartered Accountant and has extensive experience in direct tax consulting, tax compliance, revenue audit, tax appeal, etc. She also specializes in advising on taxation aspects of cross-border transactions involving Treaty interpretations.

Deepashree Rao is associated with VA, New Delhi since 2012, prior to which she was with KPMG. She is a Chartered Accountant and her core practice area includes corporate tax litigation and advisory.

Abhishek Agarwal is a Chartered Accountant and is associated with VA, New Delhi, since 2010. He has extensive experience in advising clients on complex transfer pricing issues and preparation of transfer pricing studies, planning reports, master file, etc. for diverse businesses.

Anshul Sachar is associated with VA, New Delhi since 2013, prior to which he was with Ernst & Young. He is a Chartered Accountant and a lawyer and specializes in international tax advisory and litigation.

Vishal Kumar is associated with VA, New Delhi since 2007. He has graduated from Symbiosis Society’s Law College, Pune and handles indirect tax advisory and litigation.

Seema Redhu is a graduate of Gujarat National Law University and has worked with Big 4 firms such as Deloitte and Ernst & Young before joining the Indirect Tax team at VA, New Delhi in 2016. She has extensive experience in handling Indirect tax advisory, compliances and litigation matters.

Abhijeet Das is associated with VA, New Delhi since 2016. Primarily a transaction attorney, he advises on mergers, acquisitions, private equity investments and raising of debt. Separately, he has carved a niche for himself in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sphere, particularly in relation to clinical trials.

Priyanka Jain is a lawyer and also a Chartered Accountant and is associated with VA, Mumbai since 2012. She is involved in handling varied assignments related to international tax planning and consultation, transfer pricing and corporate re-organizations.

Arnab Roy is associated with VA, Mumbai since 2013. He has graduated from National Law University, Jodhpur in 2011 and handles indirect tax related advisory and litigation engagements, GST implementation, supply chain redesign, customs valuation, litigation support and representational services in relation to indirect tax litigation matters.

Siddharth Dang is a graduate of Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur and is associated with the firm since June, 2011. He was with the firm’s Mumbai office until July, 2016 and thereafter relocated to Bengaluru to augment the Bengaluru practice of the firm. He specializes in mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, foreign investments, and general corporate advisory. He also has extensive experience in advising clients on renewable energy projects and infrastructure transactions.

Manisha Sharma is associated with VA, New Delhi since May, 2015. She is a lawyer and a Chartered Accountant. She is an alumnus of Government Law College, Mumbai, and has thereafter completed her masters in corporate and commercial laws from NALSAR University of law, Hyderabad. She is handling direct tax litigation and advisory work.

Sandeep Gupta is associated with VA, New Delhi since April 2015. He is a Chartered Accountant and had 2 years of experience prior to his association with VA. He is handling Indirect tax compliance and advisory work.

Sargam Marwaha is a graduate of Campus Law Centre, Delhi University. She is associated with VA, New Delhi since 2014. She advises on exchange control laws, employment laws and general corporate commercial laws, and is actively involved in various transactions relating to share and business acquisitions.

Sujoy Datta graduated from Gujarat National Law University in 2014 and is associated with VA, New Delhi since 2015. He handles civil and commercial dispute resolution.

Rajat Jain is associated with VA, Delhi since September 2013, pursuant to his graduation from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. He has been actively handling registration, protection, enforcement and prosecution of trademarks, copyrights and industrial designs, and litigation relating to intellectual property rights laws, information technology laws, civil disputes and white collar crimes.
