IP firm Obhan & Associates promotes LexOrbis returnee Charul Yadav to partner

Charul Yadav returns to Obhan, jumps from AP to partner

Charul Yadav, who had rejoined IP firm Obhan & Associates as associate partner in January of this year after a one-year stint at LexOrbis, has been promoted to partner at the firm, according to a press release.

Yadav had previously worked at Obhan from 2014 to 2017 before moving to LexOrbis.

She specialises in patent services including drafting and prosecution of patent applications, freedom-to-operate advice and legal opinions, and has been active in patent litigation before various courts and forums in India.

Yadav is a 2000 BSc Life Sciences graduate from Delhi University, with an MSc in Biotechnology from Kurukshetra University, and a 2005 postgraduate diploma in IP law, and a 2013 Delhi University LLB graduate, and from 2004 until 2009 had also worked at LPO Evalueserve as manager of its IP group.

In 2012, she had been a senior associate at Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan in Delhi for just under a year.
