ALMT Legal has promoted Siddhi Ghatlia to salaried partner level in the corporate practice - the firm’s twelfth partner.

Ghatlia, a 2009 graduate from GLC Mumbai, had been at the firm since 2007, starting as a paralegal, and having risen to principal associate in 2015.

ALMT co-founding partner Sameer Tapia commented: “This is the fourth partner we have made from the ranks. [Ghatlia] moved from paralegal to associate and now to partner, homegrown - we’re proud of that that we’ve been able to do that the fourth time around.

“We are very happy that we can make people climb the ranks to partnership.”

The firm has also promoted two associates to senior associate level: Pranav Jain and Prem Jumani, both in the corporate practice of the firm. ALMT today moved into a new Mumbai office on Free Press House (pictured) in Nariman Point from its long-standing Express Towers haunt.
