Khaitan & Co advised investment company Meru Capital and IndusLaw advised taxi-calling app Ola on its $25m (Rs 160 crore) infusion in Mumbai-based mobile point-of-sale services provider Mswipe Technologies which was advised by Clove Legal.
Khaitan Delhi partner Joyjyoti Misra, principal associate Arjun Rajgopal and associate Nidhi Killawala acted for Meru.
Clove co-founding partner Amit Sirsikar acted for Mswipe.
IndusLaw Noida partner Gaurav Dani and associate Nitin Gera acted for Ola.
Ola’s investment in Mswipe is a first for the taxi app which, like its competitor Uber, keeps adding multiple payment options on its platform, reported the Economic Times.
