A lot of hollow talk. Why should VK step down? Do you have any compelling evidence? Only BB carried the news and what did that achieve? Jan salary got affected and chatter started only now?
Did you know that Bihar govt employees were not paid salaries, received delayed and reduced salaries for decades? And nothing really happened to those in power despite court action.
Unless you have something solid against VK, don't make juvenile demands.
Why hasn't anyone gone public (anonymously or otherwise) with the evidence of VC's misdeeds. If anyone is under the illusion of "negotiating" with VC and Co. then disaster awaits you. He has been a past master at such games (like most VCs) and such "negotiation" strategies have never worked.
Best to make things as public as possible so that it becomes impossible to hush things up. If there is incriminating, damning evidence then send it to everyone in the GC/EC, the CJI and the CJ of HC. M

Look how GNLU students were able to pierce through the shroud of secrecy and institutional complicity. Note that this VC has not just survived but thrived despite maladministration and corruption at NALSAR and NLU Assam. His days of chicanery should end here.
This VC VK is asking faculty to apologise for the letter that they wrote him for non credit of full salary . The staff and faculty members are disappointed and in limbo.He is not even making his point clear whether faculty members will get salary for remaining February salary and the March salary. It's a harrasment. What should be done? Should police or courts be approached? Help is needed from LI and other NLUs and students.
God (if there is one) apparently helps those who help themselves. So forget about LI and student bodies et al from other NLUs. They don't matter. Consider blessed that BB even carried a part of your story. Clearly no one in Nagpur/Maharashtra is interested, not even the vernacular press.
That happens when the story isn't considered "meaty". Alternatively, your VC and his ecosystem of cronies, worthies, higher powers are so well entrenched that media would self censor.
The way out is to do an objective assessment of the evidence that you possess. It it solid and incriminating. Wishy washy things will not do. If it is good enough for the courts then distribute (anonymously) the evidence far and wide. Ofc having inside contacts in the media helps. But your identity may get compromised.
And as suggested by someone here, build the evidence that all duty/stake holders were provided the damning information. Do not restrict yourself to a "salary issue" Burn the entire house down. And then see who lands where after the smoke clears out.
