Present VP of India, has also made some bold remarks in the past. Latest would be his remark over arbitration space being dominated by Retd Justices of Constitutional Courts.

Rant , Vent , Opinions below :-
Very true

Judges actually look forward to retirement to make themselves useful to the market - and charge exorbitantly from companies
Honestly don't get the fanaticism with former judges as arbitrators. There are so many trained arbitrators bringing specific skill sets of being flexible, as what distinguishes litigation. Judjeship will become a stepping stone to eventually make a bank as arbitrator. Close knit groups, as with litigation must be discouraged.
Fellow judges often think twice before allowing challenges to arbitral awards passed by erstwhile senior judges. That's the only advantage.
Bhai Labour Law padhle. And hogaya ho toh mujhe bhi madad karde.

- Fellow Batchmate
my foot. Judges are easy to blame as they are immune anyway. A vast majority of Judges getting arbitration are corrupt.

Guess who nominates such corrupt judges?

Top Law Firms and Counsels. The system's rot is the half baked counsel trying to pass off as an arbitration counsel. They even take a cut from the proceeds that go to the arbitrators.

Do you know why judges are easy to appoint. They are used to taking a bribe from the corrupt counsels when they were judges. Hence the reliance on judges.

Try being honest in arbitration. You will be staring into an abyss
Dhankhar is a chad! After demolishing Mamata now setting his sights on the judiciary. 😎
How did he demolish Mamata exactly? He didn't manage to do anything other than be a temporary nuisance in the state and got himself the VP post in return. Mamata's reign still continues. We have got a dictator in charge of the country and another in that state, both corrupt, authoritarian and power hungry.
