I don't know the context but perhaps it is about the same-sex judgment that the Supreme Court delivered today. Advocate Ashish Goel has tweeted that "Justice Chandrachud will take on the Central Government, but he will dare not take on the BJP. There is a definite pattern to see, judgment after judgment. Judges, as human beings, have aspirations" (https://twitter.com/ashish_nujs/status/1714191630088147315). Is this correct? Has Chief Justice of India has not given any judgment against the BJP? What could be the pattern? This is an important issue and goes to the heart of judicial independence. Can someone please elaborate?
How can judiciary make law when it not even under their realm. if they would have interpret all person law in such a way of making laws or recognizing the same marriage which are not covered under any personal law would it self be against the principles of interpretation and judicial overreach.
SC should had atleast recognize the same couple relation so that might have paved the way to make legislation
Ayodhya judgment was handed on a platter. Arguably the most important political case that BJP wanted to won. There are allegations that another former CJI, Ranjan Gogoi was given RS seat in return. I am not saying these allegations are true.
If you admit that the allegations are not true, who tf are u to make claims on a public platform and defame the ex judges? Ayodhya was decided on merits, don't politicize everything. If you find it wrong, file a review petition. Don't sit on ur bed and write shit on these platforms
its all about post retirement jobs. Shubhankar dam proved it enough with other judges. Chandrachud has always been careerist- more interested in his legacy than in doing the right thing or even the law. Why is this a surprise ?
Democracy is called a system of checks and balances for a reason. If SC / CJI does not pass orders against a ruling government, who else is there to check and balance the BJP? The opposition? The press? George Soros? 😂
You do realise that the order will depend on the merits of the cases and arguments made? As in, the CJI isn't supposed to have a tiny register where he would have to mark the name of the political parties that he's ruled against, with it having to contain entries about all to be checked on his day of retirement.

He made a lot of statements about diversity and feminism and what not, but he hasn't elevated a single female to SC, 2 of his appointments are products of nepotism.
He keeps giving oral observations about liberty and rights and all that but they are limited to oral remarks and are not reflected in judgements.
He will form a bench knowing fully well that they will decide against gay marriage and then give a dissenting judgement.
Same thing was done by UU Lalit in EWS case, but atleast lalit didn't go around acting like a messiah and giving stupid speeches.
His courts have time to hear stupid PILs about removing senior advocate system, removing E=MC² and theory of evolution from school syllabus, but they can't spare enough time to hear and decide umar Khalid's bail plea, he has been In jail for years now.
Don't be mistaken, chandrchud is playing the same role as congress did in 1890s, he does lip service so liberals don't join the movement for increasing demand of accountability from judiciary, especially with regards to appointments.
A man like gogoi or Arun mishra is still better than Chandrchud, because you can depend on them to do what they say, meanwhile chandu is just a wolf in sheep's clothing.
