I see a lot of my juniors (2024,2025) batch doing pretty well , be it internships, preparation for exams or even pivoting out of law into other fields. They seem to very up-to-date and sharp about certain things. Whereas, we from 2023 or 2022 seemed to be quite in dark at the same time. What could be the reason for the same?
because these people have several months before graduating and everything is hunky dory before entering the vicious and corrupt (read CAM) job market of law firms.
The demands in well-paying jobs are less, as opposed to the number of students from '22 or '23 batch. Not to mention the hiring freeze in prospective law firms this year. Since job hunting has become an uphill run, everyone appears miserable everywhere. Its ok, this too shall pass.
