Our DPC teacher gave us a class assignment of withdrawal petition, which he had not done in class, so everyone thought it is compromise petition. Today marks were released, with most people barely getting 4/5 out of 10 except a few. How more unjust can the college be? The admin loves to speak about academic rigor but we straight-up lack proper faculty to teach us. How can he ask questions about concepts he didn’t teach in class? When we collectively tried explaining to him, he simply screamed at us for no reason. Perfect epitome of being rude and inconsiderate.
Teachers aren't law firm bosses. We don't get paid in lakhs to attend classes, but we come here to learn. Besides, not everyone is eyeing a law firm job.
You and your predecessors have allowed incompetent outsiders who are the cronies of the VC to 'teach' here over the years without filling formal complaints, or challenging their lack of knowledge inside the classroom (which will require you to study in advance too of course). One reaps what one sows. Even now the problem is apparently not his incompetence, but that he has marked you badly. With that kind of selfish views and blinkered perspective, you and such teachers deserve each other.
Why the hell every random thing about internal affairs of nujs makes to public domain? DPC professor, who always is very respectful in class and very enthusiastic while teaching (addresses students as Dear Brothers and Sisters) is a very renowned advocate in Calcutta. He gives practical knowledge unlike other years where DPC was scam. Who can taught drafting better than litigation advocates?
Because the students have got way too much time in their hands, classes hardly happen, there is no academic quality or rigour, and the handful of good faculty left here have finally given up.
All this is because a lobby of students want to get NKC out and thus trying to discredit the management before the world at large.Right after this thread was posted they started attributing this to one of the most dense kids in the batch who's hardly around in order to misdirect responsibility from themselves. He always marked like this. Even last year. He chews tobacco in classes. He is not qualified to be a professor. He really should not be teaching at this university. He only gives his favorite students good marks. They usually speak the same regional language as him or are women who dress conservatively. He has not taught us anything with substance. Imagine having to memorize formats to reproduce in a class where everyone is copying off each other and ending up with identical scripts. He marks based on his whims and fancies. He is absolutely incompetent. He did not provide a syllabus. He has no professionalism. He cannot communicate adequately or provide a marking scheme. He is a scam professor. We deserve better. He taught us nothing. He used to smoke bidi with students at the side gate as well. He also worked out arrangements for some students who took improvement exams. There was no merit involved.
In cnlu we have we have toh learn the whole sale deed, execution Petition, money suit for our end sem and draft same to same uf it is different from the format given by faculty we are failed. Thats why most students like around'20-30 students get repeat
