Good move and long overdue. NLUs must sign MoUs with the IITs and NLUs in their states. Next aim for NUJS should be an MoU with IIMC. Eventual goal should be joint degrees with both and a system where NUJS grads can be pushed into MBA courses at IIMC and VGSOM at IITKGP.
NUJS is already having talks with IIMC about an MoU. In addition, MoUs have been entered with IISER, NFSU, Cognizant, Cambridge, Leicester, Sheffield and JU, other than a few private research organisations. There are NUJS faculty who have been regularly working with faculty from IITs like KGP, Delhi and Kanpur, as well as those from IIMs on multiple research projects.
Can you give proof, such as links to news reports or even the NUJS homepage or Facebook page? Difficult to believe otherwise.
Come to the university to check the MoUs out in person or file an RTI. Not everyone has time to do PR, some just prefer to do the work instead. Some of the references you can find in media reports like Livelaw or MSM that has referred to a recent project having been done between Leicester and NUJS. Some of the work is visible from joint faculty publications with people from other institutions. Of course, nobody is asking you to believe anything anyway, since you doing or not doing doesn't make any difference.
GNLU has the best advantage, as the best IIM is in that state and IIT Gandhinagar is doing fantastically well. Modiji and Mota Bhai are pumping in funds bigtime.

Bengaluru has the second-best IIM but the IIT in Karnataka (Dharwad or whatever) is crap.

NLUD is on the backfoot as there is no IIM in Delhi. IITD is very good though.

Kolkata has the third-best IIM and IIT KGP is decent, so NUJS can benefit, but the brand value of all three are currently falling.
