Pathology chain Metropolis Healthcare’s initial public offering (IPO) has seen major investor interest, raising Rs 1,204 crore, reported Mint and others.
It is one of the few IPOs this year, in what has been a muted time for IPOs in the Indian capital markets.
Khaitan & Co acted for the issuer, Metropolis Healthcare Limited, led by partner Abhimanyu Bhattacharya, partner Aditya George Cheriyan, principal associate Oishik Bagchi, and associates Aparna Bagree and Devarshi Mukhopadhyay.

L&L Partners acted for the Carlyle Group, which was the investor and selling shareholder, with a team consisting of partners Manan Lahoty and Manshoor Nazki, and associates Varun Baliga and Soumya Cheedi.
