Out of 78 Nalsar Hyderabad students who graduated this year, all out of the 71 campus recruitment (RCC) subscribers took up jobs, with the largest number placed with Indian corporate law firms.
Only four out of the 71 recruited students bagged jobs through independent efforts (pre placement offers (PPO) and off campus interviews).
A Nalsar RCC 2014 member said in an email: “The highlight of the season was that most recruiters were very impressed with the quality of talent offered by the Class of 2014 and ended up taking more students than they initially intended to.”
It is understood that AZB made seven offers and did not visit other law schools and that BPCL hired five of its six fresher trainees from NALSAR and did not visit any other law school after hiring from NALSAR. ICICI ended up hiring two more students than what they had planned for.
"The amazingly successful recruitment season owes a lot to the quality of students we had in the class,” the member added.
Last year the law school placed 66 out of 80 students who graduated, with a record eight offers made by foreign law firms.
Legally India reported last week that RMLNLU Lucknow set a new personal record in recruitment statistics, with 45 total jobs.
Editor’s note: We are reaching out to other 2014 recruitment committees who have now graduated. Please get in touch with us at to arrange sharing the final figures.

32 31 students accepted law firm offers. AZB was the top recruiter among nine law firms visiting campus. Amarchand made four hires on campus. Both hired six graduates each, in all.[Update 5:42pm - The RCC has informed us that one person who was given an AZB offer was also given a Linklaters offer and he finally accepted Linklaters. So AZB's final accepted offers are 5 and not 6]

Law chambers and litigation firms
Seven students were placed in four lawyers’ chambers and with one senior advocate, through campus, after the 2014 RCC followed its predecessor in actively approaching litigators for jobs.
“This time around we actually reached out to eminent lawyers and litigation firms to recruit from our batch because a good number of students subscribed to the RCC because we had decided to pursue litigation firms and lawyers as a part of our mandate as opposed to letting the students approach lawyers on their own,” explained the RCC member in the email.

LOL.
whats your offer like??
Thank you for your comment.
The RCC just now called and informed us that one person who was given an AZB offer was also given a Linklaters offer and he finally accepted Linklaters. So Linklaters final accepted offers are 3 instead of 2 and AZB's final accepted offers are 5 and not 6.
We have made the correction in the story.
Best wishes,
Prachi
