To add some context- I recently went to an older relative's house in a hill station. The slower lifestyle with a traditional grandparents' house feel was appealing, but at the same time boring for everyday. Moreover, corporate practices are centred around Delhi & Mumbai, so remote work also has the appeal of allowing all of us to live in cities we actually want to instead of these concrete jungles. Mainly, i think the thing holding us back is a lack of trust in our own productivity when and if we become more comfortable.
