1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.

I recently had two positions to fill. When we instructed the recruitment firm, 80% of the CVs we received were from women. At interview they did much better β more confident, better prepared, and with a clear desire to grow in the profession.
I ended up recruiting women into both roles. More power to them.
Spare us your spew on "equality feels like oppression". The reality is the current generation of men is eating the dirt for the past generations sins as we force a remedy on work force participation rates in white collar jobs with some power and prestige.
We also know why it suits management to hire women (for various financial and better left unsaid reasons). Just like why Indians are preferred in management roles in the US and why white woman control client facing roles.
They are more "manageable" and "predictable". They keep clients on "hook". Thats all skill too, no doubt. Wish more people admitted it rather than play into sociological semantics and culture wars. Men worth their salt negotiate hard and take more risks - so there is a cost associated to having them.
Most men liked the subject. If they didnt they left. Women make excellent workhorses.
So if there is a strong leader expect a lot of women under them.
People who can tolerate more are generally hired
Suddenly women got a lot smarter.
Soon it will be 100%.
Law firm peeps, any particular reason for the same, and specifically in capital markets, I am seeing tons of female associates, trainees, sa's, etc than males
Why is this happening?
