Between Direct tax advisory and litigation, choose litigation, because CAs cannot appear before courts. However, CAs will always have an edge over lawyers when it comes to advisory, primarily due to their better understanding of law and numbers and their ability to see how a transaction will be affected both from a legal and commercial standpoint.
