Obviously, dirtying a shared place is not cool, but placing all the weed smokers in a single bucket, and categorising them as "degenerate junkies" speaks volumes about you.
So many of my friends (Me included) have smoked a lot of pot in our personal space, and are doing fairly well for ourselves (Hell, I feel half the people in my floor (Tier 1 Law Firm) smoke/smoked weed in their life. )
At the end of the day, it's a personal choice. You do you. Not that it matters, since your placements should be effortless considering you're competing with "degenerate junkies"
I doubt any of these successful managing partners or senior lawyers were people who woke up to their bongs and spent the rest of the day lazing around and continuing to smoke.
I just don't see how this can be implemented in colleges without the admin really cracking down.

My tier 1 NLU is infamous for how open you can be with substances, and it's led to the shared infrastructure of the campus becoming so gross that it's hard to describe it. People share the same bongs across a floor, and clean the bongs on the washroom floor. There's always a rotten stench wherever you go. Moreover, you can tell who abuses it from their face and body - they look half dead to be very blunt.
I don't care about the pros and cons of marijuana or whatever, but do feel a discussion on its moderation and some stricter enforcement is necessary. We're already in an odd time with the industry being more competitive than ever and AI just on the horizon, having the next generation of lawyers be degenerate junkies is sad.
