How are people to then access all the vast pages and pages of law materials which are available only in English (or primarily in English, with materials in translation not necessarily being reliable), once they land up at law school? Court judgments from around the world? Legal theory materials? International law materials? Read Eliav Lieblich's primer to research in international law. He clearly says that if you can't 'access' materials in English or French, 'your research will unfortunately be limited'. Starting a bonfire of academic standards in the name of so-called 'inclusion' is dangerous, unhelpful and problematic. How much easier to do something like this than to actually try and ensure that children from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds get a good education, which gives them the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to be successful in a global marketplace. How much easier to pontificate about grand theories of neocolonialism or whatever other crap people tend to pontificate about these days, instead of just imposing a hard, significant tax on the rich (maybe imposing a world-wide taxation regime like how the U.S. does) and using those funds to build more schools, recruit more qualified teachers, etc.
