We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

Heard the latest sqe had a lower pass rate and required understanding of concepts.
How long should one prep before starting mocks?
I'm currently looking for some guidance on preparing for the SQE and would greatly appreciate insights from those who have recently gone through the process.
1. 1. For someone with an average academic background, how challenging do you think the SQE is?
2. 2. Is it necessary to seek coaching or additional support to succeed in the exam?
3. 3. I've come across several SQE preparation providers, with Barbri and QLTS being the most widely discussed. Could anyone share their experiences with these programs?
4. 4. Are there any other coaching options or resources you would recommend?
5. 5. Finally, any tips or advice for effective preparation would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your time and insights. I look forward to hearing from you!
