Many of the programmes I've named, except maybe Harvard, offer considerable money to students. NYU's legal theory programme provides a stipend of 25K USD to its students, SPILS at stanford waived off much of the fees for some folks I know. Yale helps any students who are accepted with considerable monies too- one graduate told me almost the entire fees. If you get into the tech law programme at stanford you will get a job in silicon valley. The oxford BCL as well- its difficult to get funding, but most of their graduates seem to have no trouble finding a job. Many of these programmes focus on developing younger academics. So if you want to practice, you need to carefully look at which programme would help you.
