Yes - very high attrition in Sanjeev/SKPs vertical for sure.

Yea - the major reason Khaitan Noida partners aren’t known outside Noida is because of the ridiculous internal politics.

It’s just sad how many comments (however truthful) were marked as contested or trollish. Should tell you a lot about how the firm is conscious of painting a very ideal picture.

Just to summarise :

Avoid: Ajay, Aakash, Sneha, Sahil, Kartikey, Priya

Aim for: Karun, Diwakar, Abhisaar
It is quite high. You’ll read this thread and understand why.
I've heard that attrition rate in disputes in KCO is very high. Sometimes people don't even complete 1 year. I wonder why.
Have heard the same about Tuli's disputes scene. Max vibes.
Yes except Abhisar’s team sees attrition directly when she doesn’t promote you after keeping you in loop :)

Karun and Dinwarkar are excellent no nonsense teams
Have you seen the sheer number or comments marked as trollish and not published? Would you have such reviews if it was all “good things” ?
Bad working hours, low quality work, very strange team dynamics with some PAs and SAs being overbearing and difficult.

Prateek is great IMHO. Haven’t heard anything ▮▮▮ about Priya Singh - her team is looking to hire tho.
There’s finally a forum to be honest on and you’re not hearing sugar coated reviews. :)
They do have quality young partners in Delhi Disputes team, such as Aseem Chaturvedi, Abhisar Bairagi, Karun Mehta, and Diwakar Maheshwari who're all good to work with, and also have relatively lower attrition rates.
What's with all the bad reviews??? I've only heard good things till now.
I heard Priya and Prateek are really good to work with, especially Priya Singh. They are still looking though to hire.
I also think the quality of hires and associates in Prateek’s vertical is subpar.
I had a horrible experience working in Prateek’s vertical. No mentorship, mad working hours.
Aren’t these four all the people in SKPs vertical? Anushka and Sneha are part of Prateek’s team only.

Does this mean there’s attrition in all teams under SKP and AB?

How is Atul Shanker Mathur? His team was advertising a vacancy for very long - not sure if it’s been filled up.
Yea - not diluting partnership is a major reason for a lot of great people leaving.
KCO Noida Disputes is also not offering partnership. Only two counsel promotions happened this year.

Good talent has joined SAM and some good talent has left for outside India.

I would say, good talent made the correct choices!
Sneha and Saman both are very very difficult to work with.
The fact that this isn’t contested and has so many upvotes should tell you a lot about KCO Noida 😂 😂
Aseem is a decent chap. No tantrums per se. The team is also relatively better.

What is the reason for the sudden attrition? A lot of good talent has left.

Anushka (and Prateek) are actually quite decent to work with!

PLEASE do not join her team. I still have PTSD.

Please avoid these verticals! I worked for 2+ years and I dont think I gained anything out of the experience except mental health issues.

Oh my God, I have worked on numerous due diligence reports and it was the most mind numbing experience.

Very uninspiring teammates, poor mentorship.
Yea - Noida. No one knows anyone outside Noida.
There are no long term interns in KCO Lit Delhi - why are you misleading?

Fresher hires, yes - there are tonnes in Delhi.

Lmao Akash is fantastic until you have to work with him. He is not a team oriented partner
Fully agreed. Go to that team if you want to meet your targets by doing litigation chapters in due diligence reports. The team picks up mandates from corporate team- no quality work.

Khaitan Disputes Delhi has given PPO to long term interns and also hired half a dozen freshers.

KCO Mumbai is the place to be for arbitration. Delhi has no arbitration scene unless you count Kartikey who also doesn’t have any promising mandates and is known to have major tantrums and very few hires.

+1

I suffered from major anxiety and panic disorders in that vertical.

This is the most accurate depiction. Full chill sarkari scenes.
Khaitan Disputes in Delhi has not offered any PPOs off late. (And this is likely to not change)

True!!! KCO Mumbai (Raj Manavendra Chakra and even Kingshuk) are known all around. Many of them speak at international conferences while everyone else is Delhi is quite non existent outside Delhi.
++++1

This is accurate AF. Full sarkaari daftar vibes.
I worked in that vertical and fully support this! Very forgettable work.

What is the PPO trend for Disputes in Khaitan Delhi?
Correctly pointed out - none of the partners named have any presence outside KCO Delhi.
Nothing exceptional about Sneha - very average work and a random mix of Delhi HC, NCLT and domestic low key arbitration.
Akash is fantastic but the team only has domestic litigation. You can and should avoid working with Sneha and Saman.
As compared to KCO Mumbai’s strong presence in arbitration (Raj Kingshuk Chakrapani) - the Delhi arbitration scene is not even comparable.
Sanjeev and Ajay's verticals - who are the good partners? You do not hear of anyone from Khaitan Delhi at conferences or engaged in big or major matters. What is the insight from juniors?

How are the Partners - Anushka, Sneha, Akash, Saman?
