Poll: Who do you think masterminded the regime change in Bangladesh?

Global north it is. The sudden increase in political instability in the South east Asian region especially in regions like Manipur, Bangladesh and Myanmar is not a coincidence.

If you think about it, the political unrest is not scattered. It is generally located in places near/bordering China, and usually there have been communities [both large (Kukis) and small (Bangladesh Christians)] parts of it.

Also India's silence with such events also seems eary.

Now comes the speculation part. China has become a very explicit competitor of the global north (USA and Europe) in the past 2 decades. The weirdly coincidental events of 'The Resolve Tibet Act' of US, Bangladesh protests and political unrest in Myanmar are what I think the action of the northern deep state. What the west would want to achieve is to either weaken China (due to its communist nature and it being a competitor of the west and getting closer with Russia) and/or to establish a base in south east Asian.

Here is what I think what would happen -

1) political instability grows in manipur and Bangladesh and surrounding regions, which eventually leads to the demand of a christian majority country/communality by taking parts of Burma and Bangladesh. This would help establish the west in south east asia.

2) the west continues pushing its anti-china agenda, which either leads to a full wagered war (in the distant future) or leads to internal collapse of China.

A counter question one should ask is, why did the west not apply the same strategy it did years ago of waging war between China and India? There are two reasons for it 1) Christianity and Abrahamic religions in generally are sustained by political power unlike asian religions (Hinduism, Buddhism..) which are simply a way of life and hence lack aggression. Islam is out of question because it has generally been anti-west.

2) India has regulated the NGO donations via FCRA, 2010, which was one of the primary source of bringing politically motivated foreign contribution. Therefore there has been in general terms a certain calmness here for the past decade here.
