1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.

BA or bsc at the end of the day its nujs, and if a bsc student doesnt get the placement, its a stain on nujs's collective name. So they will go with the common cell only.
The subjects of law that will be taught would be the same, along with the electives pertaining to law offered down the line. The only difference would be in the BA and BSc part. It could be argued that the science subjects are more scoring than the BA ones.
The BSc degree we're getting is in Forensic Science and Criminology. Kolkata is the hub of Forensic Science in India given its rich history, and the current WBNUJS VC is the president of the ISC (Indian Society of Criminology), so the scope for this degree seems bright.
This course is UGC approved and the RPC (Recruitment and Placement Committee) for both this course as well as BALLB are gonna be the same. The faculty for the Law subjects is also the same.
So placements after 5 years would totally be dependent on your performance i.e. positional batch ranking, co-curriculars, etc. The WBNUJS would definitely help you though.
Although having science stream in class 12th has been made mandatory by the Consortium to get admission into this course, people who aren't from science stream and still filled up this option in their preferences as well as secured it in counselling are indeed being admitted by the university.
The university or the UGC doesn't have a hard and fast rule on the eligibility criteria of admission into a BSc in Forensic Science and Criminology course, only the Consortium makes the science stream compulsory.
That's why for the first batch which was admitted last year, there was no such eligibility criteria as the admissions took place outside the Consortium's counselling.
The vacancies that'd be eventually released for this course this year would also most likely not make the science stream compulsory either, as they also happen at the university level only.
The science subjects being taught are also easily understandable for Humanities/Commerce students as well. In the first batch, out of the 64 students at least 20 were from either Humanities or Commerce (including me). They performed as well as the Science ones.
