1. Work Environment: Heavily dependent on the team. Go for Mumbai office rather than the Delhi office, Mumbai work enviornment is better than Delhi. Delhi is politics heavy. Uncles will start survellance of who is and who isnt in office at 10 am.
2. Office Infrastructure: ▮▮▮ office location and ▮▮▮ office location. Funniest bit, even thier partners have shitty office space and chairs. ▮▮▮ . ▮▮▮ They have only 5 accounts for Manupatra and one account for SCC- and this place asks to be considered as a top tier law firm. ▮▮▮
3. Workload: Eh..depends a lot on your team. Some partners have good business but rest meh.. If you get good team, you may consider, but others a big pass. However, this will also depend a lot on where are you coming from and how desperate are you (are you jobless or a fresher or switching practice)? In Delhi office, I have seen most people leave by 7-8 pm (expect for few ▮▮▮ team). At least the Delhi office has a good attrition rate. Do a good due diligence on the partner before joining - some have threads here and some live here (see chatuguri comments for them carefully).
REMEMBER: Someone appesring to work all day and someone acutually working all day are two polar opposite thing. ▮▮▮
4. Pay: Penuts! In all seriousness, from what I recall:
A0- Rs. 40,000
A1- Rs. 60,000
A3- 75,000
SA- 1,25,000
