I am one of the people whose life has been nearly devastated by this University. Still, being neutral I consider HNLU as a whole to be a good institution. Faculty is at par and some are really good at their work. Academics are not burdensome and attendance policies and campus is good too. Students me have gotten good internships in law firms, courts, judicial,etc Alumni base is strong and placement wise the stats are rising. I believe if you do great and have HNLU ka NLU tag as an advantage it wont stop u from getting a good package only on the ground that u are from a tier 2 institute. Student crowd is mostly good some do indulge in contrabands in or outside campus but then as long as they take their own responsibility, are not menace to others and know the consequences including suspension, it is fine. Only caution about this place is, the admin here is not good in fact very cruel so stay as much away from them as possible. And if you get at loggerheads with them due to any reason, no one will come to help you, no one. So key is to avoid them at any cost.

The average Package for law schools doesn't work like engineering colleges. In T2 NLUs except RMLNLU, if you have a good rank, you get a good job. As simple as that.

HNLU has improved quite a lot in recent years. The posts mentioning its decline are close to 5-6 years old.

I've been allocated a seat in hnlu and I'm worried if it's actually worth it. I have tried to research some of its aspects in the net but I'm still not so sure if it's worth it . It's ranking in the NIRF is not shown and there many mixed opinions in the net for HNLU some says it's the best tier 2 nlu but some say it's status have fallen down and not worth its tier 2 status anymore and the most concerning part is it's average package placement of 6-7 LPA which does not match it's status as the best tier 2 nlu. Please respond to a cry for help and share your experiences if you are in hnlu and if it's really worth it
