I dont care what label you put on it, there have been events in the past where girls were asked to stay back or leave early. Why not keep boys in their hostels and let the girls party, I can honestly tell you it wud be the most safe space ever
Who told you there will not be a cost to fighting the patriarchy? Yes you might lose a party or two- its not the end of the world if you manage to make your collective boundaries known to the people at your university and change the culture.

Where did caste politics come from in this issue? Stop blaming the upper castes for anything and everything under the sun.
There’s a difference between slut shaming/ protectionism and separatism. If the point of it all is to have a party - have one in the girls hostel. Refuse the men until they never do this again. This is an old radical feminist idea - don’t they teach that anymore ?

Yes they post more stories than classes in a day
So you are saying the girls/ victims must bear the brunt because the boys don't behave better. Great!

I've definitely heard cases of colleges enforcing curfews for girls, why not put a curfew of 9 pm for the boys and then let the girls party? Seems fair enough
This has always been the case - who told you that college would be a safe space ?
Why do you want to party with people who are slutshaming you?

I would boycott all social events on campus until the boys behaved better. Get some self respect.
Yes, have seen a lot of first years post about this on their instagram stories, happened around 4-5 days ago I think
it is common in NALSAR. Just that most things dont come out on social media.
