long read: llm is not a qualifying degree in the UK. Unless you have prior experience, and have already got a lateral offer, it is rarely possible to find a job in one year. If you have no experience, it is almost impossible to find a tc in one year. Scholarships are available for LLMs in the UK but in the SOP you would have to write that you want to go back to India and teach, if you say you want a corp job you are unlikely to get a scholarship. If you are desperate to settle in the UK, do the one year combined LLM-SQE prep course at University of Law (which is a private college) from London. This course offers 3 months training, you would need a total of 2 years training to qualify as a solicitor in the UK. Try out the small shops and say that you will work as a trainee/paralegal for peanuts. If luck holds you will get a traineeship. Dont need to worry about visa as your LLM course would give you 1 year post study work visa. In the first year complete SQE II and then stay with the shop for 9 months and then open your own shop. Needs upwards of 1-1.5 crore INR for the entire project.
