Firms won’t look t each semester individually. They’ll arrive beginning of 4 th year and if she can pick up her gpa by then she should be fine. The best bet for getting hired in campus placements is to be in the top 20% of your graduating class. Depends on which NLU however , in some there are fewer opportunities. In which case she will need to apply and work hard at internships and try and get a pre placement offer.

By way of an example,%s are not very relevant but CGPA is. For eg, if the CGPA max band is 7, and someone obtains 5.5 average (it’s the average that counts), that’s still very good. Do the calculations accordingly for other CGPA bands. Companies generally do not fix a threshold CGPA number. If she’s in the top 20 percent of her class - that’s good. Beyond CGPA, internships, moots, extra curriculars - go a long way in job applications. Good luck to your daughter!
