What LGBTQ people need is not to be treated differently or recognised. I want run of the mill ordinary life. I want to be judged by the content of my character and not the person I want to sleep with. This hyper-sexualised environment that the LGBTQ movement creates, sends a lot of us sensible queers (who are in formal professions and have been for a while) straight back to the closet. We don't want to be associated with a movement that demands we be sexualised before we can claim our identity.
