Cs is a qualification which is employed by companies because the law says so.....if not none except a few will employ a cs....companies look up to cs as adding to cost with no revenue generating capacity....

agree. it can be a very useful qualification for corp lawyers
15 lakh total companies

93% are private, not requiring full time CS.

Less than 5% of total required full time CS and only listed big companies hire more than 1 CS.

So, merely there are 70-80K CS are required in total.
Very few companies in India require full time CS as an employee. Not much scope. Also, mostly compliance work, boring and tedious and repetitive. Artificial Intelligence can take over such work quickly.
What I have understood is that doing CS as a primary course with a Law (decent college) is better than using this degree as an ancillary to law, Please correct me if I'm wrong.
