So in a way, it's not fair to project ▮▮▮ as a martyr and saviour. He did mess up the press coverage. His actions were counterproductive and did nothing good.
I would wholeheartedly support ▮▮▮ if he is targeted, he exercised his freedom of speech. As of now VC is cribbing and whining 365 days about him, even in speeches given to junior batches - how ▮▮▮ ruined her 50 year NLSIU reputation etc. Nothing more than that - he hasn't been harmed as written. Just like ▮▮▮ has the right to write to Bar and Bench, VC has the right to whine non stop about him. This however doesn't justify VC's petty behavior.
Sad for the kids at Tunnels, but at least this batch of 2022 is done with Lizzie.

Criticism only after Compliment
She started off with saying, no one could throw stones at her without offering bouquets. So only after appreciation of her work, any criticism was allowed. [With all due (dis)respect we appreciate your ▮▮▮ in running the university and being a champion in playing the blame game when we come with any complaint to the 'head of the institution', a phrase I beleive you'd rather prefer to be called than VC.]

Then she started off with boasting for a good few minutes about how she knew about quarantine even before the word became popular world wide and she quarantined the moot returnee students well before lockdown.

Then she vindictively recalled one guy from the batch off 2022. Let's call him the Spark of TNNLU, and how he told her how to run the university [In all fairness, his requests were justified and don't forget ▮▮▮ and I too have as many but I don't email cz apparently she knows it all. Bro, you couldn't get the flippin water system (THE BARE MINIMUM, THE BASICS) fixed for 20 days and we had to walk all the way down for WATER. And you wanna believe you know it all?] and how he had too many issues. She said she had a separate folder in her inbox with all his emails. Imagine the level of pettiness and hate in her. 🤣🤣🤣
Another woman buttering her up, recalled him and the 'CHAOS' and 'RUCKUS' he created by merely asking to do classes with PPT and share them with her and had no consideration that she was new to the subject and had other new things to figure out in her personal life. 😶😶 [Bruh if you don't know the subject, why did you take it up for teaching? ▮▮▮]
Out of no context she also bitterly recalled a guy from batch of '24. 😶
No remembrance
And yes, she did not mention one word about the two students of that batch who passed away. It was another professor that mentioned.
Background and what followed:
The event went on until 9 at least. All the teachers were giving their speeches and then there was some momento distribution. So students slowly started walking out to have dinner, which is understandable, given the curfew time at 10. And she took over the mic and what follows happened.
And that's how she addressed the outgoing batch.
'I don't even want to use the words ladies and gentlemen since I don't want to misuse the term and your behaviour is not like that.'
Worst interpretation of responses.
TNNLU students are not very appreciative of academic activities, that's why they don't turn up for academic events.
The threat
'Now since you all are graduated, we can do nothing about it. You can be as vocal as you were in the emails or even more. If you all misbehave 'TECHNICALLY RECALL THE DEGREE.' But that hasn't happened previously.
