We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.
Therefore, in using the site, you must agree to do your best to uphold these community guidelines.
Note that what you find here is written and moderated by anonymous people on the internet.
Therefore everything you read here is very likely unverified, rumour, speculation and/or downright false.
In continuing to read anything here, you must therefore agree not to take anything you read here as factual and that you will exercise due caution, diligence and common sense before acting on any information you may come across here.
You also agree to report any inaccurate or malicious comments with the buttons. Moderators take action within 24 hours, as required and appropriate under law.

Do you solemnly agree to all of the above?
Are you interested in a career in corporate law, but unsure if it is the right fit for you? Do you wish to gain more insight into how law firms function and the kind of matters lawyers in top firms get to work on? Then youโre in the right place!
Law Firm Ready runs a pro bono mentorship program for law students by assigning them mentors for a period of almost 3 months. Every mentee receives one-on-one mentorship from our mentors. Our mentors are lawyers working in some of the top law firms such as Khaitan, CAM, JSA etc. In the past, we have successfully paired students from over 30 different colleges with our mentors.
This mentorship program is a great opportunity for law students to get to speak to someone already in the legal industry and receive guidance from mentors who themselves have gone through the struggles that almost every law student faces. As we have limited number of seats, we are unable to select every applicant. But we try to prioritise students from private colleges or newer NLUs which lack a robust alumni base or donโt have seniors to guide them.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Law students who are currently in their 3rd/4th/5th year of college
HOW TO APPLY?
We are currently accepting mentee applications for Batch V (Oct 21 - Dec 21). Application form is open till October 01, 2021.
