As somebody who loves 80s and 90s music, I don't agree that music and and lyrics need to be politically correct these days. That could be true about mainstream music but there is abundant music with the brashness and rebelliousness of the 90s - it is just difficult to find it because of the sheer quantity of music that gets released every day. Having said that, here is a list (was hard work typing out all this on a working weekend, so please give these a listen):

Third Eye Blind - most of their first three albums
Foo Fighters - any damn thing! (My Hero, Everlong, Monkey Wrench, Times Like These) - all their new albums still have that attitude - and the music videos are as cool
Pavement - Spit on a Stranger
Deftones
Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence
Collective Soul - Shine
Alice in Chains - Would, Man in the box
Sepultura - Ratamhatta
Queens of the Stone Age - No one knows, go with the flow
Veruca Salt - All Hail Me
Kyuss - Demon Cleaner
Smashing Pumpkines - 1979
Audioslave - any ducking thing

These are a few that come to mind. Please also share yours.
I would also like to add

Tool - entire discography (trust me its that good especially Lateralus)
The Strokes - entire discography (especially their debut album Is This It)
Radiohead - Kid A, OK Computer, In Rainbows (albums)
Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf (entire album), make it wit chu, I sat by the ocean (songs)
Led Zeppelin - I and IV (albums)
Bill Withers - Lovely Day, Ain't No Sunshine (songs)
Tame Impala - again entire discography

These are just off the top of my head, I can share my spotify playlist if you want :)
