Since you are in Delhi already, it might be easier to continue in the same city. Focus on the fundamentals of trial, rather than jump into appellate or writ courts first.

Your hometown will mean your costs of living will be close to zero. No rent or utilities. So you don't have to concern yourself with pay for the first year or two. It is your familiarity with court staff, judges, procedures and practices, and your relationships with people, that will help your work profile grow. Give it the time it needs.

You could achieve that either in Delhi or your hometown. If you were to start in your hometown, you could very well see yourself in Delhi as your practice grows.

Some of us dream of working in Delhi. Some are happy with small towns, less stress, proximity to family. Money is good, but it can be found in any city. How much does money mean to your happiness is a question worth asking yourself though.. others can't answer that for you.
