Former Sequoia India general counsel (GC) Sandeep Kapoor has quietly expanded a start-up law firm to three offices in 11 partners (of whom three are associate partners) in the space of only three-odd months since opening its doors on 1 August.

HSA Advocates has hired Economic Laws Practice (ELP) partner Ashutosh Gupta as a partner and as chief strategy officer.

Parinam Law Associates has grown to 12 partners nationally, after hiring its second partner in Delhi, Swarupama Chaturvedi, who is joining with six associates on the firm’s first anniversary of founding.

L&L Partners Delhi-based partner Alina Arora resigned from the firm yesterday.

Following from its corporate partnership promotions in September when six got the nod to partner, L&L Partners’ separate litigation partnership has now announced its internal promotions and probably one of the largest round to date, including five to partner in Delhi and one new partner designate.
