Khaitan, CAM act on FIL's investment in Cipla

Khaitan & Co advised drug major Cipla on raising funds in its arm Cipla Health, from FIL Capital Investments which was advised by Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

Khaitan partners Haigreve Khaitan, Bhavik Narsana, Kartick Maheshwari, Avaantika Kakkar, Adheesh Nargolkar and Sharad Vaid, associate partners Sameer Shah and Atul Pandey, principal associates Shweta Dwivedi and Anshuman Sakle, associates Avantika Govil and Rakshit Sharma and counsel Shailendra Bhandare acted for Cipla.

CAM Bangalore partner Arjun Lall acted for FIL.

Cipla’s foreign investment proposal of Rs 145.22 crore received the FIPB’s approval and last month Cipla transferred its consumer healthcare business to its arm Cipla Health, reported the PTI.
