Someone I know who was from neither any good college or law firm background got offered a consultant role in CAM. What does it mean in terms of role, designation, pay structure and hierarchy. Seems odd as why wonβt a law firm hire someone as a full time lawyer. Insights pls.

reply Consultant means you are being evaluated. After the period ends they'll give you a designation. For example you may be an A3 from a tier 2 firm looking to make SA. However CAM says hold on, we don't know if you're good enough. Makes you a consultant and gives you SAship after if they find you good enough.
