Someone I know who was from neither any good college or law firm background got offered a consultant role in CAM. What does it mean in terms of role, designation, pay structure and hierarchy. Seems odd as why won’t a law firm hire someone as a full time lawyer. Insights pls.
Bro, consultant at associate level meaning they need people and you don’t fit in or perhaps they are unsure of you.
Consultant means you are being evaluated. After the period ends they'll give you a designation. For example you may be an A3 from a tier 2 firm looking to make SA. However CAM says hold on, we don't know if you're good enough. Makes you a consultant and gives you SAship after if they find you good enough.
