In tier 1 firms would be only appropriate to wear the generally legal formals ( white shirt/ black trousers) or can we wear different formals in the same colour scheme ? Iā€™m talking about firms like Trilegal and S&R
Shirt and Pant is the norm. Shirt of any colour and accompany that with a black pant. Wear a black blazer if required.

women - shirt pant/formal skirt
If you're with a disputes team, I'd suggest sticking to white and black only.
