The ex-professor has expressed via her LinkedIn that she has had to quit law altogether, following lack of action on JGLS administration's part. This is absolutely horrendous.
Horrendous indeed. However, she preferred quitting the law and making peace with her past by writing about it. By posting this again and again on LI, you are prolonging her pain and serving no one except yourself. The laws for sexual abuse already exist, and they are tough on men. An unsubstantiated allegation alone can go miles today. This country is running on the belief that it is not in the nature of our womenfolk to abuse such laws. That's a lot of trust that we as a society have reposed in women, and mind you - she hasn't been singled out from availing of these laws. Her not wanting to subject herself to due process is a personal decision, and you have no moral right to post away like this. You, in my opinion, can only claim the moral high ground when out to her and put your law degree to use by offering her quality legal aid. Until then, respectully, shut the F up! 🙏🏼
Who told you that she's made peace with it? Moreover, while bringing her harassers to justice by going to the police is her personal choice, people should still know how the institute refused to support her. Because the institute and policies still remains the same.
MESSAGE TO THE OP-

Hey there, if a neurosurgeon needing brain surgery decides to write about her ordeal living life without surgery while exercising her lawful right not to undergo neurosurgery, would you go about town screaming foul? I'm sorry, but just because you might have responded differently to that stated experience, it gives you no right to pass blame around without even the facts! 🤷🏼‍♂️

People who are saying why she didn’t take any legal action are ignorant of the fact what money and influence can do to people fighting for their own rights. we have had many such incidents where not only the victim but whole of their family’s life was endangered to keep the matter under the rug.
