We've got a mix of students here: about half are from Maharashtra(Mumbai,Pune, Nagpur), and the rest come from places like MP, UP, Delhi, Bihar, and Rajasthan. There's also a small bunch from Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.
Most students are from Tier 1 & Tier 2 cities.Few are from rural parts of the countryside.
Teaching is pretty good overall. The Humanities department is alright, but the Law department has some really good professors and associate professors. Although, some of the assistant professors aren't up to par, except for the ones who've been around since before 2021.
The Management professors are coolβthey know how to communicate with students and keep on experimenting, even if their teaching isn't top-notch.
If you're thinking about the Judiciary course, the best faculty would be teaching you, but it might mean missing out on the main course, BA-LLB (Hons.) which is the flagship course.
And please dont use Judiciary course as a backdoor entry into our university ,it is already looked down upon here by hons. counterparts.
As for placements, there's nothing too fancy happening on campus. A few companies show up, but only a handful of students get offers. Most folks end up finding placements through their own hustle, sometimes with pre-placement offers. To name few firms who have extened PPOs are Trilegal,BLC,Begur,JSA,AZB etc.
Most of the senior members (Batch of '21 & '22) of our family are at the associate level at various firms, and it would certainly take until the 2030s for them to be able to contribute back to the university. A total of 4 Batches would be in the market this year including the graduating batch of 2024 [Total alumni strength excluding PGs and Phd scholars would be around 360] . We are young , among the giant oldies.
Most of the things are true only. Only one disagreement is, that Judiciary course is doing pretty better than the BALLB Batch, because Judiciary batch are taught by better professors and they value academics a lot, I have seen them attending regular classes and doing really well in co- curriculars too. Infact their batch strength is 60, where in BA it's 120. But yes, if you are choosing, then Choose only between BALLB or BALLB (Hons. in Adjudication and Justicing) (Judiciary Batch), BBA LLB is bit confusing. IDK WHY BUT IT IS.
Because the quality of students with respect to learning law i.e academics is too good. They actually attend classes deligently, whereas BA LLB Course students are just opposite. Faculties have a bit of notion for Adjudication and Justicing students because of their Quality and Interest in Academics. No ways, Afterall, they got selected after fighting huge levels, CLAT + GD + Tests + Interview conducted by Bombay HC.
I'm the person who wrote above comment! Kindly do not make or influence your choice on the basis if only above answer, or tbh on the basis of whole legally India. Just consider every circumstance of yours and the options and choices in your hand.

Their faculty are being paid only half their salaries due to severe funds crunch. So it is your call. Personally, I'd avoid it.
