Geniune question. Should I apply for JNU for my masters and PhD? My family seems against it cause well "anti-national". However if I am planning to venture into a political science field, there's nothing bigger than JNU right now. The atmosphere, the resources and the guidance is top notch for humanities. However the public perception is poor. And I agree as long as the national party is in power it will definitely dismantle the establishment. My parents are worried. However I am not political and very much neutral and avoid such situations. Should I still apply ?? And if yes, how do I convince them ?

You shouldn't apply to JNU. And your neutrality will be like a soft rock under constant raging tidal waves. I.e your neutrality will get eroded
