I aspire to join Trilegal's Gen Corp, Private Equity or M&A team someday, but it seems like a dream too good to come true, particularly since I haven't interned at any Tier-1 law firms. I graduated in 2022, figuring stuff out and currently a part of an in-house team of an investment company which helps small businesses, and incubations by providing them end-to-end transaction support. I know I have a longgg way to go, so any guidance/ suggestions on how I can progress towards my goal would be greatly appreciated!
Possible, but will take time. Unless you can display something extraordinary in your cv or interview (if you make it to one), it'll be gradual shift from Tier 2/3 to it. You'll have a significant edge if at a smaller place you get your basics right and can analyse situations quickly and effectively, since there little margin for error while handling multiple matters at any Tier-1
