Is the pay (fixed+ bonus) in Funds practice similar to that of Transactions practice at different levels? - Associate/SA/PA/Partner
Funds are high value deals. The pay is higher only at partner level depending on your business. Pay at A/SA/PA depends on tier of firm and your reputation and experience so far. You might see significantly different at PA level. Definitely not upto SA. Good luck.
Same till SA, after it completely depends on you. A good transactional lawyer will out earn an avg funds lawyer and vice versa.
Don't go to funds. Too niche area. You can't shit. You would be stuck up for life in funds.
You must be too naive to even make this comment. Any headhunter will tell you and I mean ANY, that Funds practice is the most remunerative and is most in demand for ages now. Very wide as a practice area and challenging too. Thats why the shortage of lawyers there despite high demand
