As I will be completing my sixth semester in April, after which I will be interning in May and June before commencing my seventh semester, I am uncertain about the most appropriate way to indicate my academic year in the cover letter. Should I identify myself as a "4th year student at NLUx," or would it be more accurate to state that I am in my "7th Semester at NLUx"? Alternatively, would it be clearer to mention my current status as a "6th Semester (or Third year) student at NLUx"?
